Richard F. Dreyer, MD

Dr. Dreyer is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Specialized training was obtained with Fellowships as a Macular Fellow at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, and as a Vitreoretinal Fellow at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Dr. Dreyer has been in private practice since 1986.

Michael S. Lee, MD

Dr. Lee is a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology training at Yale-New Haven Hospital and obtained further specialty training with a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Lee served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio from 1999 to 2005. He has been in private practice since 1999.

Colin Ma, MD

Dr. Ma is a graduate of the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, and came to the USA for his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Iowa. He received Fellowship training in Retina and Vitreous at the Doheny Eye Institute and University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Ma has been in private practice since 1991.

Apurva K. Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained further training as a Vitreoretinal Fellow at the Department of Ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Patel served as an attending physician of Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania where he received an award for Surgical Teaching in their Residency Program. He has been in practice since 2013.

Mark A. Peters, MD

Dr. Peters is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin. He received specialized training with a Fellowship in Disease of the Retina & Vitreous at Devers Eye Clinic of Good Samaritan Hospital, Portland. Dr. Peters has been in private practice since 1986.

Paul S. Tlucek, MD

Dr. Tlucek is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he also completed ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. He obtained specialized training as a Vitreoretinal Fellow at the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Iowa. Dr. Tlucek is in private practice and joined Retina Northwest in 2013.
